By accessing and using ToolShack ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

ToolShack provides free and premium online tools including but not limited to:

  • JSON formatting and validation
  • Image compression
  • QR code generation
  • Color palette generation
  • Base64 encoding/decoding

All tools process data client-side in your browser. We do not store or have access to the data you process.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to access additional features. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
  • Use automated systems to abuse the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the service to transmit malware or harmful content

5. Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions provide additional features for a recurring fee:

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds: 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
  • Price changes: We'll notify you 30 days before any price increase

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by ToolShack and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Results will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL TOOLSHACK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolShack and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
